Cunningham’s Mission Critical & Life Sciences Division continues its strong growth trajectory with the award of two significant projects, valued at a combined €20 million, further strengthening the company’s position as a leader in delivering complex technical construction projects.
In a major step forward for Cunningham’s international expansion plans, the company has been appointed by Winthrop Technologies to deliver a full internal fit‑out package for a new data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. Scheduled to commence in Summer 2026, the project includes the complete internal fit‑out of both the data hall and front‑of‑house areas. This appointment reinforces Cunningham’s capability to deliver sophisticated Mission Critical projects and supports the growing demand for advanced digital infrastructure across Europe.
In the same week, Cunningham also secured a substantial project with PM Group for a global biotechnology facility in Dublin. The scope of works includes complex civils and underground services infrastructure, supporting the development of a next‑generation Life Sciences manufacturing facility. Construction is due to begin in early April 2026. The wider scheme forms part of a landmark €700 million investment in a cutting‑edge site focused on producing biologic medicines targeting autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular conditions and various cancers.
These dual wins highlight Cunningham’s reputation for the reliable, fast‑track delivery of highly technical projects across diverse sectors. Cunningham’s Mission Critical & Life Sciences team continues to support clients across the full project lifecycle, with specialist expertise in data centres, pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities, and semiconductor developments.
Securing two significant projects within the same week is a fantastic milestone for Cunningham’s Mission Critical & Life Sciences Division. These wins reflect the strength and technical capability of our specialist teams and the trusted relationships we have built with leading global clients across the Mission Critical and Life Sciences sectors.
The Frankfurt project with Winthrop Technologies is particularly exciting as we continue our growth across Europe. At the same time, securing further work with PM Group at the biotechnology facility in Dublin demonstrates our continued partnership and the demand for Cunningham’s expertise in complex Life Sciences projects where uninterrupted services is non-negotiable in a live environment.
