Delany Park

Cunningham were appointed by Wicklow County Council to deliver Delany Park Social Housing Development which consisted of 43 units, 20 of which were three bedroom semi-detached and terraced family houses with the remainder consisting of 21 duplex apartments.

In addition, there were 2 complex needs bungalows with specific Occupational Therapy adaptations.

Construction of the homes was traditional masonry builds including concrete tiled roofs, with brick and render features on the external wall finishes.

The site was in a residential area, adjacent to occupied buildings and near Arklow Town Centre. Cunningham delivered a superior highly specified development encompassing insulation and air tightness, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, rainwater harvesting systems, permeable external paving, energy efficient lighting and solar panels. Nzeb and BER A2 ratings were obtained for the homes.
