Queens University, Belfast

Cunningham were appointed by Queens University, Belfast to deliver an upgrade and refurbishment of three student accommodation buildings in the university area of Belfast.

The project was delivered during the summer months ahead of a new academic year. Works involved the replacement of mechanical and electrical installations, layout upgrades, replacement of finishes and redecoration to the properties.

During the project work, it was discovered that the roof structure was defective. The project team delivered a new roof structure and finish within the programme timeline constraints.
