Cunningham were appointed by Meath County Council to deliver Connaught Grove Phase 2, a quality residential development comprising 47 new homes in Navan, Co. Meath. The project was completed in just 46 weeks, six weeks ahead of the contracted 52-week programme, demonstrating our commitment to efficiency, collaboration, and best-in-class construction delivery.
The development features a mix of single-storey and two-storey dwellings designed to meet the needs of a wide range of occupants, including five two-bedroom bungalows, 20 two-bedroom two-storey homes, and 23 three-bedroom two-storey homes.
Built to the highest modern standards, all homes achieved an A2 BER rating and incorporate modern methods of construction to enhance energy performance, build quality, and long term sustainability. The use of air source heat pumps, advanced insulation systems, and airtightness measures ensures each unit delivers superior comfort while reducing energy consumption.
A raft foundation system was employed throughout the development, while the timber frame structural system allowed for rapid and precise construction. The project also includes two generously sized landscaped open green spaces, complemented by footpaths and amenity provisions, creating safe recreational areas and fostering a welcoming community environment.
Connaught Grove Phase 2 exemplifies Cunningham’s ability to deliver sustainable, energy efficient homes ahead of programme while maintaining the highest standards of quality, providing Meath County Council with durable housing that will serve the community for generations.
